Hilarious take on daily commute vs stages in life

This story will be an hilarious take on my daily commute and how i am comparing it with stages in life .Broadly classified the life stages as teenage (0–20) ,middle age (20–40) and old age(from 40 till …..)

For my work i travel from near K R Puram to Hebbal (slightly ahead of hebbal),the three stages are from KR puram to Hennur cross ,
Hennur cross to junction after Manyata tech park , and then from there till my work place .

The approximate distances are 7km , 4km and 5km .
So my daily commute is approx 16km .This road doesn’t have any signals Don’t believe it yes from home to office no signal .
Yes guys i am travelling in Bangalore without facing a traffic signal , So please dont swear at me .

Are you Serious

Get to the point dude .

My travel from home to Hennur cross is a straight forward you cruise at approx 50–60km per hour .Nice roads no speed breakers , yes there are few pot holes obviously . But nothing alarming about it you can go over it .

Our young age is also like this you are very fast , great attitude, no hurdles even if they are there you can go over them .
Clearly laid out path , not many choices, you take life as it comes , fearless .

You have time for everything in life.

Enough of cruising guys , time to slow to down in life .Time to step into middle age.

Once you hit the Hennur cross this is where the most difficult part of life begins .Not for everyone !!! You are presented with choices /decisions to make.Should i take the service road to cross Manyata or Should i take the straight road . Similarly in life you are presented with go for a job / higher studies / take a break etc .The decisions hit you hard if you fail. Few follow the crowd just like seeing lot of people take the service road /inner roads you also follow .

Few don’t follow the herd some of them are successful. For few of them thinking they are going to take off realize that the road is only a half runaway .The Half runway ends where Nagvara junction starts.

From now it is the heaven’s entry / Soorga Vaasal . Yes IT used to be heaven for most of us . The entry to Manyata is the heaven’s entry

Just like the black Friday entry lot of people try to enter through the small gate. Here again you are presented with decisions to make like marriage / starting a business , having kids etc . These decisions are tougher than the first half of the middle age.

You don’t have time for everything

The developers have appropriately named it as “World Comes To Work”.In my initial days used to think the entire Bangalore comes to work , but after hearing other outer ring road stories felt some what satisfied. The developers should have put it as the “World Comes to Stop”

You always think that the grass is always greener on the other side .Don’t we in the middle age

These decisions sometimes hit you very very hard , if you fail you are indecisive on decision making .

Phewww that took a long time to read /cross this part of the journey .The next part of journey you cruise but at a slower speed .

You are presented with potholes , but you have learnt to get over it with patience .Even at this age there are tougher decisions to take , but take informed decisions. This could be like kid’s education , marriage , where to settle down .Irrespective of the decisions you finally reach the conclusion /destination

You realize you cannot always find a balance :)

When i reach my work place i start to wonder was that journey worth it .

In Life You start to think whether you lived your life .

As i embark on a new journey , i would say just enjoy your journey.

Life begins when your comfort ends !!!!!

Hope you guys enjoyed it
