How to Learn from a Mistake

I happened to make a mistake a couple of days ago. Nothing too big, but it made me stop and reflect on how I might do better next time. And that made me think about the steps I took to figure out what I’d do better. So here there are, roughly. I’d welcome your own insights.

I’ve made a fair amount of mistakes in my life. I don’t know that I’ve learned from all of them or even known about all of them. But we don’t grow if we don’t make mistakes and learn from them. If you keep making the same mistakes, then you’re stuck.
